The other day I was building legos with Bailey and I built what he considered to be a cooler space ship than his. So in an irritated/defeated voice he said, “Why do you always make cooler spaceships than mine?”
And I said, “Because I’m cool.”
And he said, “No, you’re not cool. You’re funny. Make something funny.”
On election day at Bailey’s school, the teachers gathered all the kids in the auditorium and had them close their eyes and vote for either Obama or McCain. Every kid voted. Every kid except one.

So one teacher called him out and said,”Bailey, you didn’t want to vote?”
And he said, “No, I wanted to vote.”
“Well, who did you want to vote for?”
“I want to vote for my Dad.”
Then later I asked him why he would vote for me to be president. And he said, “If you were President, then you could make me King.”
