Switching the Fork
B: When you are eating, say a piece of steak, do you cut with the fork in your left hand and knife in the right, then set the knife down, switch the fork to the right hand then eat?
T: No, I cut with my right and eat with my left.
B: So you never switch the fork into the other hand?
T: I am a lefty. And fat. The fork never leaves my hand. That would disrupt the flow.
B: Yes, I agree that switching hands makes eating a meal take about three times as long.
T: That is why I usually just hold the steak in my hand and eat it like beef jerky.
